Fort Worden State Park is one of our favorite places to camp. The Point Wilson lighthouse sits on the point across from the campground and at the end of the driftwood strewn beach. While sketching this scene a few times, I tried to simplify the shape of the buildings and the windswept trees on the hill with the view of Whidbey Island and Mt. Baker in the far distance.
